National Heritage Listing of Moonta Mines Precinct – Conservation Management Plan
The Moonta Mines precinct was Nationally Heritage listed on 9th May 2017. The Copper Coast Council received $88,000 from the Federal Government to produce a Conservation Management Plan. This Plan outlines how all of the Heritage sites in the Moonta Mines Precinct could be developed in the future. Following a tender process Heritage Architects, Swanbury Penglase have been appointed.
Two public Community Information Sessions were held at Moonta on the 12th and 13th November 2019 to outline the process for the production of the Conservation Management Plan. A copy of the presentation by Swanbury Penglase is attached.
