ANZAC DAY SERVICES

Thursday, 25th April 2024

Members of the public are invited to attend the following RSL ANZAC Day Services held within the Copper Coast Council:

Kadina

The ANZAC March will commence at 6am from Graves Street (opposite Police Station) and proceed around Victoria Square, concluding in front of the War Memorial, where Father Christopher Kowalczyk SDS will be officiating the Dawn Service. Next of kin and wreath layers are welcome to join the ANZAC March.

Moonta

Mr. Doug Warmington will be officiating the Dawn Service to be held at 6.30am at the War Memorial, Blanche Terrace, Moonta. The 83 Sqn. RAAF Edinburgh will be in attendance.

Following the service, there will be an ANZAC March from the War Memorial to the Vietnam Veterans Clubrooms, Military Road, Moonta, for a Gun Fire Breakfast.

RSL Clubrooms in George Street will be open from 12.00pm for a BBQ lunch.

Wallaroo

The ANZAC March will commence at 6.45am from the Wallaroo RSL Clubrooms and proceed to the Wallaroo Town Hall Memorial Arch, where Reverend June Ladner will be officiating the Dawn Service at 7.00am.

At the conclusion of the Dawn Service, there will be a service held at the RSL Cross at the Wallaroo Cemetery, in memory of RSL Members who have passed away.

Public are welcome to attend.

Paskeville

Mr. Bob Prouse will be officiating the ANZAC Day Service at 9.30am at the Memorial Arch, Paskeville.

Morning Tea will be provided at the Paskeville Community Centre at the conclusion of the service.
