Art Galleries
There are 2 Council owned Art Galleries on the Copper Coast.
The Ascot Building is located in Kadina's main street. The cultural centre serves the Copper Coast community with performing and visual art activities. The art gallery features artworks acquired through the Cornish Festival Art competitions and hosts many travelling exhibitions.
A lift services the second floor allowing people with disabilities to experience the cinema in the theatre styled facility.
It is in close proximity to many community services and food outlets. There is also a community lounge and pubic toilets
Open 10am-4pm weekdays, and Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm.

The Moonta Gallery of the Arts is situated in Moonta's main street, inside the town hall. Featuring a variety of different exhibitions throughout the year, on a monthly rotation. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone's artistic tastes, and being located in the main street it is within walking distance of a wide variety of cafes and food outlets. Chatswood Art Studio
Artist in Residence - Pat Brereton
Artist in residence Pat Brereton works in watercolour, pastel and other mediums. Drop in for a good old fashioned chat and cuppa with Pat and Colin. The studio is filled with beautiful pieces of artwork and Pat also specialises in framing her paintings.

Picturesque Framing and Gallery
Kadina's own Gallery of fine artwork by artists who live on the Yorke Peninsula
The gallery boasts a range of artwork to suit all tastes and decor. From grand to petite; oils, acrylic, pastels and watercolours. Notable, award winning artists' works on show.
As well, there are many unframed artworks and photos which make wonderful gifts, great for travellers or just to store away to frame and show another day.
The gallery stocks an exstensive range of Art Spectrum paints, pastels, brushes, canvas, pencils, paper, mediums, easels and many other art needs. As well as having gift ideas and starter kits for those keen to have a go.
The custom framing service is done to the highest of professional standards. All materials and methods used are of conservation quality and the proprietors, Ray and Ros Woodfield, can recommend archival materials for all works of value. They also cater to those wanting their old pictures and frames restored or reframed, even gold leaf gilded.
You are welcome to come and visit the working gallery.

Art for sale by local artists
COPPER COAST ART GROUP AT MOONTA - ALL WELCOME!
The Copper Coast Art Group (formerly the NYP Art Group) meets weekly on Tuesdays from 9.30am - 1.30pm and from 7.00pm - 9.00pm in the art rooms at the rear of the Uniting Church in Moonta opposite Queens Park. As well as meeting weekly to undertake general art activities, the group also run workshops, hold exhibitions, and have art camps. Members range from experienced professionals to beginners and use a variety of mediums.
