Charting a course for the Copper Coast - Inspired by lifestyle. Driven by possibility.
In 2024 Council commenced on a journey to renew the Council’s Strategic Plan. This started with a broad community engagement, and nearly 500 members of the community contributed. The resulting Strategic Plan 2025-2035 supports the implementation of our collective vision and is structured around three Copper Coast 2034 themes. It describes the priority outcomes we are working towards and our measures of success over a 10-year period.
In accordance with the Local Government Act, the Strategic Plan is complemented by the Asset Management Plan and the Long Term Financial Plan and reflects the issues and needs of the community, to be delivered in partnership with others. It sets a vision for the district and identifies goals and objectives designed to highlight social, economic and environmental issues and challenges that affect us all, now and into the future.
