DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) PANDEMIC THE ASCOT GALLERY IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED.
“The Ascot” Community Exhibition Gallery is a temporary exhibition space, provided by the District Council of the Copper Coast as a venue to host artisans’ work of any media or subject, including collectors, hobbyists, workshops and table game enthusiasts (some conditions do apply). A Gallery Space request form is available by phoning
(08) 8821 2404.
Bookings are essential; exhibitions can be booked for up to a month at a time. There is a programme diary prepared for the forthcoming year, so bookings need to be made as early as possible if a particular time is required. However, vacancies may occur unexpectedly so please enquire by phoning (08) 8821 2404 and leaving your details for the Exhibition Coordinator to return your call.
This gallery space is also used for exciting and ever varied touring exhibitions from COUNTRY ARTS S.A.
To complement “The Ascot” venue, the “KERNEWEK LOWENDER” Art Prize Collection is on permanent display (other than the Cornish Festival exhibition time in May during odd numbered years). For further information regarding the Collection, phone (08) 8821 2404.
A community lounge area is also available for rest and relaxation from 10.00am – 4.00pm weekdays, plus Saturday mornings from 10.00am – 12.00 noon. Comfortable chairs and daily newspapers are available.
