The Copper Coast Council provides three halls for hire to use as a community activity space, meetings, or social function venues.

Each hall has kitchen facilities, wheelchair access, toilets and a stage.

Kadina Town Hall

The Kadina Town Hall was erected in 1880 with a hall and second story council chambers added in 1883. In 1889, the building was transferred to the Corporation of Kadina. Today the Kadina Town Hall is connected to the Copper Coast Council Office and currently hosts the following facilities for the community:

• Meeting room with small kitchenette
• Main hall and stage
• Large Catering Kitchen
• Toilets

Seating Capacity: 250 main hall, 100 gallery

Stage Area: 9m (l) x 6m (w) x 4m (h)

Moonta Town Hall 

The Moonta Town Hall was erected in 1885 by Pollard and Cowling of Moonta to the design of Thomas Smeaton of Adelaide. The clock tower and clock was added in 1907 and the drinking fountain near the corner was presented by Mayor Symons in 1890 to mark the arrival of a reticulated water supply.

Today the Moonta Town Hall hosts the Moonta Gallery of Arts, the local Statewide Cinema and the following facilities available to the community:

• Main hall and stage
• Supper room/meeting room
• Small supper room kitchen
• Toilets

Seating Capacity: 200 main hall

Stage Area: 10m (l) x 9m (w) x 3.77m (h)

Online Booking Moonta Town Hall

Wallaroo Town Hall 

The Wallaroo Town Hall was originally erected in 1902 but was destroyed by a fire in 1917. It was then rebuilt in 1918, completely remodelled except for the main walls and a large clock added to the tower. The town hall is renowned for its beautiful ornate ceiling and stage proscenium.

The Wallaroo Town Hall currently hosts the following facilities for the community:

• Main hall and stage
• Supper room with kitchenette & bar
• Large catering kitchen
• Toilets

Seating Capacity: 300 main hall, 230 gallery

Stage Area: 13.5 (l) x 8.5 (w)

COVID-19 Restrictions

All bookings and licence holders of the Community Town Halls are required to follow the below COVID-19 restrictions.

• Create a COVID-Safe Plan specific to your function type.
• Have a hard copy of the COVID-Safe plan with you at the function.
• Provide a COVID Marshal.
• Make sure the capacities of the rooms are not exceeded.
• All attendees check-in with QR code or sign in sheet.
• Hygiene practices are in place.
• Follow all other requirements as stated on their Safe Plan.
