Frances Terrace may be upgraded, but we are now working to beautify the area with street lights and a footpath.
Next Tuesday, 25 May, contractors will be undertaking concrete footpath installation works along one side of Frances Terrace, from the Milne Terrace roundabout to Blyth Terrace intersection.
This work may impact some property frontages up until 8 June 2021, but we will ensure minimal disruption is caused and frontages are left in good condition once works are completed.
The following day (Wednesday, 26 May), light poles will be installed at the Frances Terrace/ Milne Terrace roundabout.
Motorists will be unable to access parts of Frances Terrace/Port Hughes Road (between Caroline Street and Tank Road) and Milne Terrace (between Bay Road and Gardiner Street) from 8am until 2pm.
