Council will hold a Public Meeting on the 13th of June. The purpose of the meeting will be to help our community understand the options to enable them to write a more fully informed submission. Following that meeting the public will be invited to provide written submissions about the report and the
options available. This process will take a number of months and result in a report to a formal Council meeting where the Elected Members will make a decision in the best interest of the Community. However, before it goes to a Council meeting there will be ongoing discussions with State Heritage in regards
to the community feedback and the various options. Please provide us, by the 4th of July 2018 with your feedback. Whether it’s constructive, positive or negative, we would like to hear it all. A summary of your comments will then be provided to Council for a decision on whether Council moves forward
on all or parts of this proposal.
