Sample: County Daly Births Index: Smith Jane 43/3768 = this indicates that the birth record for Jane Smith can be found in book 43, certificate 3768. This information may only be copied by hand.

Microfiche Readers:
There are several fiche readers in the Local History Room. It is recommended that you leave the reader turned on until the end of your research.
Microfiche:
YPFHG microfiche and CD Collection are stored in a locked cupboard. Access is only available to YPFHG members holding a current membership card. A Catalogue of records is available for perusal.
County Daly Births, Deaths and Marriages are available during library opening hours.

RESEARCH:
Income is derived from membership and research fees which are used to purchase additional records.
All members of the group are volunteers and take up various positions within the group.
The research officer spends a great deal of time viewing records, often with little or no results, as often the information may not be available. You may be advised to contact other organisations to further your research.
Source references are shown with replies i.e. cemetery, school or passenger lists. We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made in official records.
The YPFHG request an 'up front fee' of $25 plus a stamped self-addressed envelope for your reply.
Enquiries should contain what you are specifically looking for.
YPFHG VOLUNTEER HOURS:
- A volunteer from the YPFHG is on duty each Tuesday morning 10.00am - 12 Noon
- Wednesday afternoons 2.00pm - 4.00pm
- Other times by appointment (at least two weeks prior notice) FEE - a visitors Fee of $5.00 is charged.
