The Copper Triangle Aerodrome is located between the towns of Kadina, Wallaroo and Moonta and serves a land area of 773 Kms2. The Copper Coast Aerodrome is not licensed.
The aerodrome was opened on the 18th April 1983.

The airstrip is available to facilitate the emergency landing of RFDS, or similar emergency services aircraft for evacuation of persons requiring emergency medical care.

Outside of sealed area may be boggy in winter or after heavy rain.
Road access into the airstrip includes a small portion of gravel road.
No fuel available at airport.

A landing donation for airfield upkeep box on wall of waiting area - $10 per visit

At the entrance to the aerodrome there are plaques commemorating Air Marshall Sir Richard Williams, KBE, CB, DSO, Father of the Royal Australian Air Force.
