Moonta Country Markets

Queen Square, Moonta
Market Dates 2019
Sunday 6th October

The Moonta Country Markets, a Moonta national trust event, will be held in Queens Square (previously old railway station) on the Sunday of the March and October long weekends from 9am to 2pm. Crowds flock to the stalls which feature crafts, toys, collectables, jewellery, books, produce, and bric-a-brac; and there's plenty of food and drinks available, including old fashioned sweets and homemade produce. The National Trust will be running the Tourist Train leaving from Queens Square out to the Moonta Mine Museum, railway station and Sweet Shop for a small fee. Admission to the markets is free, so bring the whole family along, grab a bargain and enjoy the atmosphere together during the holiday.
