Draft Annual Business Plan 2018-19

Council is giving the public a second opportunity to ask questions and make submissions in relation to the matter for a period of at least one hour during the meeting of the Council, to be held on the 6th June, 2018 in the Kadina Council Chambers commencing at 7pm. Kadina Cemetery Wall Public Consultation

22 May 2018
Council will be holding a Public Meeting at 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday, 13th June, 2018, at the Kadina Golf Club, Russack Road, Kadina. The purpose of the meeting will be to help our community understand the options to enable them to write a more fully informed submission. Following that meeting the public will be invited to provide written submissions about the report and the options available. Council moves forward on all or parts of this proposal.

Splash Town Water Park Moonta Bay

Splash Town – Copper Coast is now closed for this season. We hope you have enjoyed this free fun in the Copper Coast. Council is continually working on ways to extend Splash Town’s opening hours, with the goal being to operate it 7 days a week from October to April. We look forward to an even better, longer season next summer. Days and times for next season will be advised on this page when announced.

AVAILABLE FOR USE - The contractor has made the temporary facility available for use. Access is only via the southern gate, please use the temporary facility with care. The contractor is continuing to work on the permanent solution of which we hope to make available next summer.

Changes to Dog & Cat Management Act

13 March 2018
New laws for cat and dog owners will come into effect on 1 July 2018. The laws and rules include: - Mandatory microchipping of dogs and cats - Desexing of dogs and cats born after the 1 July 2018 - New rules for breeders who sell dogs and cats - Introduction of a State-wide database, called Dogs and Cats Online.

Kadina CBD Redevelopment

23 November 2016
Construction of stage 1 began on the 21st of November 2016. Stage 1 consists of stormwater pipework across the town centre and the upgrade of Frances Tce. This will prepare the town for stage 2 which will be implemented in 2017. To remind our residents that Kadina will be open for business during the construction period, weekly prizes will be available for shoppers in the redevelopment zone.
